Road Safety | Traffic Operation 19/08/2025

Good Morning, 

Yesterday, GMP specials who were out supporting the local neighbourhood officers conducted various checks sites across the borough, and responded to complaints from residents around road safety, the main concern being excess speed. Below are some of the results from the various sites. 

5 x Speeding ticking 37- 45 mph (30mph zones) 
1 x No Seatbelt 
2 x Light out  
1 x Due care and attention 
1 x Non-conforming VRM plate
